The Gladstone and District Sports Foundation Trust was proud to see several of our recipients being nominated in the Gladstone Regional Council’s Australia Day Awards for Young Peoples Sport and Recreation Award.
Gymnastic Tri of Hannah Balisnomo, Leah Burge and Grace Wright and Athletics star Milly Sharpe. Milly took out the category due to her outstanding results on at National and International competition, ranked 4th in U18 10,000m race walk and a win early in the year at the World Athletics event in Canberra.
Unfortunately Milly was unable to attend the ceremony as she is away competing but Congratulate her on this achievement and wish her all the best with her ongoing Athletic goal and competition.
