Brothers Braxon and Haine Attard were selected int he U/14 CQ Bulls team to compete at the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour during October 2025
The pair played 9 games over the course of the 4 day carnival, winning 4 games. The championships provided an amazing opportunity for the team to play some tough games with brought great learning and growth.

Their highlight of the event was watching the older age groups play their games and especially their finals. The CQ Bulls teams all gathered in one tent during the 4-day carnival, and being the youngest team representing CQ, they were mentored by the older team members. Watching the CQ Bulls U14 team play in their Grand Final and witnessing the CQ Bulls U16 team win their Grand Final was certainly a big highlight.

Looking forward to 2026 both are keen to make the Capricornia School Team for Touch Football as well as competing again for the CQ Bulls representative team again at a National Competition Level.
It is great to see the Gladstone duo pushing each other to improve and the Gladstone and District Sports Foundation Trust looks forward to seeing where your talent and dedications takes you.
